The GR8cars Challenge is a program of select local auto dealers committed to support high
school booster clubs, their sports and activities. Booster club and student body members,
friends, family and fans can go to the dealer website, Portland SportsNet or SWWsports online and:
-
Click on the "GR8cars Challenge" link in the left navigation or click on any "GR8cars Challenge"
banner in their school's sports section
-
To take advantage of the program, potential buyers can either:
-
Submit an email lead to their selected participating dealer. A copy of the lead is sent to GR8sports and the
GR8sports Affiliate for follow up and tracking; or,
-
Print a GR8cars Challenge Certificate and present it upon arriving at the dealership.
-
For each car sold through the program, the dealer agrees to contribute $100 to the GR8cars Challenge to benefit
the designated booster club, student scholarship fund or special programs per the rules set by and administered
by the GR8sports Challenge Trust.
-
At the end of each month,
-
GR8sports USA will send a report to participating dealers providing a list of email leads submitted
during the month and request sales results. The dealer representative will review the report,
add lead information for Referral Certificates submitted by buyers and remits the appropriate Challenge
contributions to GR8sports Challenge Trust for distribution.
-
GR8sports Challenge Trust will submit a lead/results report to the booster clubs on or about the 10th of each month.
-
For the 2006-2007 GR8cars Challenge, each dealer contribution of $100 per car sold is applied in the following formula:
-
85% is applied directly to the benefit of the referring booster club
-
15% is applied to a regional student scholarship fund
-
5% is used as a booster club incentive pool. Booster clubs with the largest numbers of qualifying buyers
will share this money based on guidelines or contests with the incentive criteria to be set by a dealer advisory panel
-
100% of the program contributions directed to GR8sports Challenge Trust go to the benefit of the booster clubs and the
kids. Program costs and expenses are paid by GR8sports USA.
GR8sports Trust is an independent dealer advisory panel designated to collect and manage all funds. The Trust is a 501C3,
non-profit organization and not associated with GR8sports USA or it’s Affiliates.
